Funafuti Airport (FUN) is an international airport located in Funafuti Atoll, Tuvalu. It is equipped with one runway and one main passenger terminal. It first opened in 1943. Fiji Airways (trading as Fiji Link) operates three flights a week between Suva (originating from Nadi) and Funafuti. The absence of runway lighting, minimal VHF radio and air navigation equipment means that operations are restricted to daylight hours.
