Praia Nelson Mandela Airport (RAI) is an international airport located in Praia, Cape Verde. It’s located about 1.9 miles (3 km) northeast of central Praia in the southeastern part of the island of Santiago and is in the northern part of the neighbourhood of Achada Grande Tras. It is equipped with one runway and one main passenger terminal. It first opened in 23 October 2005. It’s the hub for TACV Cabo Verde Airlines.
