About Khon Kaen Airport (KKC)
Khon Kaen International Airport (KKC) is located in Ban Pet, Mueang Khon Kaen, in northeastern Thailand. It lies approximately 8 km (5 miles) west of Khon Kaen city center. The airport opened on 6 February 1963 and was upgraded to international standards in 2005.
