Taiwan Taoyuan Airport (TPE) is an international airport located in Dayuan, Taoyuan, Taiwan. It’s located about 25 miles (40 km) west of Taipei. It is equipped with two runways and two terminals. It first opened in February 26, 1979. It’s the hub for China Airlines, EVA Air, UNI Air, Tigerair Taiwan, Far Eastern Air Transport, and a focus city for Cathay Pacific, Mandarin Airlines, Vanilla Air, Thai Airways, Scoot.
