Xi’an Xianyang Airport (XIY) is an international airport located in Weicheng District, Xianyang, Shaanxi, China. It’s located about 25 miles (41 km) northwest of Xi’an city centre, and 8.1 miles (13 km) northeast of the centre of Xianyang. It covers an area of 1,235 acres & is equipped with two runways and three terminals. It first opened in 1 September 1991. It’s the hub for Air Chang’an, China Eastern Airlines, Joy Air, Okay Airways, Tianjin Airlines, Hainan Airlines & Shenzhen Airlines.
