Kabul Hamid Karzai Airport (KBL) is an international airport located in Kabul, Kabul Province, Afghanistan. It’s located about 3.1 miles (5 km) from the city center of Kabul. It is equipped with one runway and two terminal buildings, the modern for international flights and the Soviet built one for domestic flights. The airport was given its new name in 2014 in honor of former President Hamid Karzai. It first opened in 1960s. It’s the hub for Ariana Afghan Airlines, Afghan Jet International, East Horizon Airlines, Kam Air, Safi Airways.
