About Beirut–Rafic Hariri Airport (BEY)
Beirut–Rafic Hariri Airport (BEY) is an international airport located in Beirut, Lebanon. It’s located about 5.6 miles (9 km) from the city center in the southern suburbs of Beirut. It is equipped with three runways and one main passenger terminal with two wings, the East and West Wing, joined together by the main terminal. It first opened in 23 April 1954. It’s the hub for Middle East Airlines (MEA), Wings of Lebanon, and a focus city for Iraqi Airways, Germania.
